The month of February arrived, and with it, we began to search everywhere for ideas to celebrate the day of love and friendship with our partners. For all those were gastronomy is the center of our lives, it is vital that in this celebration, there is a culinary element present. Therefore, here I include a list of 7 romantic and gastronomic ideas to enjoy the long-awaited Valentine’s Day as a couple.
1. Dinner in a romantic restaurant
This idea is a classic that does not go out of style. However, the difference in how we convert it from a regular dinner to experience is the place we choose. Combining the restaurant with a walk through the historical part of your city or a few cocktails after dinner will give a special touch. Remember to make reservations in advance. Bon Appetite!
2. Wine or champagne tasting
One of the gastronomic symbols of romanticism is definitely when we uncork a bottle of wine or champagne. Many of the grand celebrations of life happen with a glass of this fermented liquid in our hands. One idea is to look for some wine tasting already coordinated or go to one of the wine cellars around the city. Cheers!
3. Food delivery and culinary shows
If you are one of those who prefer not to go out and stay curled up at home watching TV, an ideal option is to order food. Delivery applications have already become popular, so you will have many opportunities to order from the most exciting joints and recreate the restaurant experience at home. Once you have food and light some candles, turn on the TV and start streaming one of the many gastronomic series to complement the evening. Recommendations: Chefs Table, Somebody Feed Phil, The Final Table, Ugly Delicious.
4. Cooking classes
Even though you might not be an expert in the kitchen, learning and creating something together creates bonds that last forever. Therefore, learning to make fresh pasta, pizza dough, or some dish that can then be recreated in our homes will be an experience that will transcend this day. They say love enters through the kitchen …
5. Spa with chocolate or wine therapy
Massages and spas are some of the most traditional activities that can be done as a couple. But for us who are foodies, a normal massage is not enough; the good news is that they have already created some relaxing experiences that involve chocolate or wine. Whether facial, pedicure, massage, or a combination of these, if it has a chocolate or wine aroma, it will be a delicious experience.
6. Visit a farm or do a plant food tour
Although it involves additional planning and may not be possible that weekend, visiting a farm that involves coffee, cacao, grapes or strawberries, is a good gift idea. If the field is not your thing, you can also organize a guided tour of a manufacturer of craft beers, distilled spirits, or cheeses.
7. Tapas in a rooftop bar
There is something very romantic about being under the moonlight, the brightness of the stars, having a spectacular view of the horizon, and the fresh air of the night. If we combine these elements with tapas and some refreshing drinks, we can say that it will be a great night. This idea can be combined with dinner to give more intensity to the evening.
